The MASL just released their 2017-2018 schedule, and like many other MASL fans, I continuously refreshed the webpage to see what the road ahead looks like for the Syracuse Silver Knights.

My eyes didn’t have to go very far to notice the first surprise on the schedule.  Syracuse will head west — way out west — for their first two games against Turlock, and San Diego.  As this is being written, only two players have been confirmed for this season (Darren Toby and Kenardo Forbes), so with the season being only 38 days away, I would hope the roster will take shape rather quickly, so that training camp/pre-season can start.

Their toughest stretch of games takes place in the Central Division from January 19-21 when they travel to St. Louis, Milwaukee, then back to the Family Arena to take on the Ambush on that Sunday.

Once that trip is done, the Syracuse players will be served up a huge dose of home cooking, as seven out of their last nine games will be played at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena, with the two away games being against Eastern rivals Baltimore and Harrisburg.

In the upcoming days, I will give my detailed view on predictions for all of the games for the Silver Knights.
