If I were to sum up last week’s games into one word, it would be WOW. Seven out of the 12 games were decided by one goal, four of which went to sudden death.

Luckily, Merlin went 10-2, with losses from Harrisburg and Rio Grande Valley. So, what will this week’s games bring? I hope the same as last week. Here’s who will take home the W’s in Week 7!

Milwaukee defeats St. Louis on Friday night.

Kansas City edges out Tacoma in a closely contested battle at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

El Paso over Turlock.

Syracuse will break their streak of one goal games in Saturday night’s tilt against Florida. I don’t know if I would consider this to be an “upset”, but give me the Knights once again in a two goal victory against the Tropics.

Milwaukee over Tacoma. Playing back to back nights, and playing Milwaukee on the second night, away, doesn’t bode well for the Stars, but expect Danny Waltman to stand on his head the entire night.

Monterrey will sweep Harrisburg this weekend.

Cedar Rapids will defend their home turf against Kansas City.

In a rather intriguing matchup, Baltimore hosts Florida on Sunday afternoon. SECU Arena has been good to the Blast so far, but the games have been much closer, with three out of the four games decided by one goal. The Tropics will be making the drive overnight after playing Syracuse the night before, so they may be a little tired in the first quarter, but, I expect Florida to gain momentum throughout the rest of the game. Unfortunately, it won’t be enough, as Baltimore takes this one in front of a packed house.

And finally, Ontario over El Paso.

So there it is, Merlin’s Week 7 predictions. I hope I don’t jinx your team this week.
