The first arena soccer international exhibition game of the year will take place next week at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario on the outskirts of Toronto. Canada will host Brazil on March 15 at 7:00pm EDT.

The game will mark the start of serious preparation for this June’s minifootball-six (outdoor six-a-side, no boards) Pan American Cup in Guatemala, which will serve as a 2019 WMF World Cup qualifier.

The Brazilian team, led by coach João Guilherme Garcia, will be very well represented by players who play in the Major Arena Soccer League, even though several prominent Canadian and Brazilian players will still be engaged in the league’s Newman Cup playoffs.

“We hope to be able to present the audience with typical Brazilian football, many skill moves and many goals,” said João Guilherme. “We will enter to win, always respecting the Canada Team, but we will go to them all the time,”

Among the MASL favorites are goalkeeper Sanaldo Freitas, defender Pablo da Silva, midfielder Ricardinho Cavalcante, and forward Hewerton Moreira.

In addition, Brazil will also have the presence of Gabriel Gubela (Gabriel dos Santos), who played for professional teams such as Fluminense, Sao Paulo, Grêmio, and Internacional, as well as Amauri (Amauri de Oliveira) who belonged to Palmeiras and Parma, and made 71 appearances with Juventus.

The friendly promises to be fairly balanced, as the Canadian team will count on the return of MLS star and Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario, who will provide fans additional passion for the confrontation between the two National teams.

The game will be broadcast LIVE on the Minifootball Brasil channel on My Cujoo (https://mycujoo.tv/minifootballbrasil) starting at 9 pm (Brasília Time.
